Students decide on the number of sessions and the content, timing and place of each session. As a result, Academic Help (tutoring) sessions can help students catch up with their peers on individual topics, complete homework, prepare for assessments, or provide advanced students with additional challenges for individual topics.
Qualified tutors who are subject matter experts but may or may not have formal pedagogical (teacher) qualifications facilitate each session.
